Clothing Required Campground

Faywood’s Clothing Required campground boasts eleven great sites that come with a picnic table, fire ring and water spigot. Campers in the Clothing Required campground have access to the Clothing Optional Bath House, public Clothing Required and Clothing Optional hot mineral spring pools and the communal fire pit. Our Bath House offers showers and bathrooms. There are also several outhouses located around the Clothing Required campground. Come soak and sleep under the stars!

Reservations are suggested but walk-in customers can be accommodated if space is available.

Clothing Optional Campground

Faywood Hot Springs is a one-of-a-kind southwest resort that houses a separate Clothing Optional campground for the naturist and nudist communities. Guests of the Clothing Optional campground at Faywood have the pleasure of walking nude from their campsite to the public Clothing Optional hot mineral spring pools. There is also a Clothing Optional Bath House in the Clothing Required campground that house a shower and restroom (campers must be clothed when leaving Clothing Optional campground). Clothing Optional campsites are considered dry and come with a picnic table and fire ring (no water, electric or septic at this time). Clothing Optional campground sites can house tents or RVs. There are also a couple of outhouses located around the Clothing Optional campground.

Clothing Optional campers must be clothed when leaving the Clothing Optional campground. Clothing Optional campers may not leave the clothing optional area nude.

Reservations are suggested but walk-in customers can be accommodated if space is available.

Cabins

We have six one-bedroom lofted cabins and a 2-person historic adobe casita available for rental. This lodging is stocked with several amenities including AzahTM bath soaps and StarbucksTM coffees and teas.

Adobe Cabin – This cozy, private casita is nestled amongst high-desert trees. Perfect for a weekend away.

Dragonfly Cabin- Named after the beautiful, varying colored dragonflies you might see while soaking in the springs. Dragonfly is a favorite among Faywood guests.

Consuelo Cabin – Handicap Accessibility

Consuelo is Spanish for comfort and is named after the historic hotel, Casa de Consuelo (House of Comfort), that used to stand at Faywood Hot Springs Resort. Consuelo Cabin is Faywood’s only handicap accessible cabin. Reservation preference will be given to guests with physical disabilities. Faywood Hot Springs does reserve the right to switch cabin reservations of equal value to accommodate the physically disabled.

Cholla Cabin – Take a hike around Faywood and you will see lovely cholla cactus dot the high desert.

Mesquite Cabin – Watch out for the thorns of the native mesquite tree! We promise a comfortable stay in Mesquite’s one-room lofted cabin after soaking in the springs.

Apache Cabin – This cabin is named for the Apache peoples who migrated to and from the healing springs at Faywood. Apache Cabin is pet-friendly, although we do not permit pets on the beds or in the bathtubs. Pets are also restricted in all of our pool areas.

Mimbres Cabin – This one-room lofted cabin is named after the ancient Mimbres people that stood where Faywood Hot Springs Resort now stands. Mimbres Cabin is pet-friendly, although we do not permit pets on the beds or in the bathtubs. Pets are also restricted in all of our pool areas.

Club House

We have a Club House with a large fireplace, bathrooms, and a kitchenette. The communal fire pit, several charcoal BBQ grills, and wonderful showers (one is family-size) are available to guests in RV. The RV area has large shade trees at many of the sites. RV and Tent sites include access to all public bathing facilities from the time of arrival until 11 AM the following morning. The Bath House is also reserved only for our overnight guests.
